Originally from Marseille, Suzy Laval studied fine arts before settling in Champagne for more than 20 years. This painter and sculptor depicts her attraction to Antiquity, and especially to the Caryatids, but above all to Egyptian symbolism. Her work is filled with a desire to escape and reveal the mystery of the sources of humanity, of the memory of civilizations.
